COVID-19 RESPONSE

COVID-19 RESPONSE

Updated on August 9, 2021

Here is the latest requirements as we continue to wrestle with COVID-19:

  1. We will continue to gather as a family of believers!
    1. If you do not yet feel comfortable gathering with others, you can find our live stream on Facebook, on YouTube, or through our website.
    2. Due to a new health order from Jackson County, all persons must be masked inside the premises, regardless of vaccination status. This will not include the worship team while on the front platform, nor will it apply to the speaker during the worship service.
    3. There are currently no occupancy limits for our in-person services.
  2. Our revamped worship service will continue as our new ‘normal.’
    1. We have moved our greeting time to before the worship service begins. So, if you desire to spend some time in fellowship with the church family, we encourage you to arrive by 10:45. The worship service will begin promptly at 11:00 AM.
    2. We have eliminated the time for collecting the offering. Instead, there is a small offering box in the rear of the Sanctuary. If you are bringing your tithes or offerings to the church physically, please drop them into the box whenever you desire before the service starts. As before, we will continue to offer online giving.
  3. We are planning on returning to holding our Life Enrichment (Sunday school) classes beginning in September. We expect all repair and restoration work to be completed by late August.
  4. Due to ongoing construction and repair work in the facility we will not be returning to in-person mid-week Bible studies in August. We are hoping to return to in-person mid-week Bible studies in September.
