Pastor’s Note
Don’t forget, this coming Sunday there is a city-wide church picnic at the Meadowmere Shelter in Grandview. There is a link in the Upcoming Events section above with a flyer for the event.

We have packed the final BandSnacks for the year and delivered them to the Grandview Marching Band. Pray that the Lord will use these snack bags in the lives of the band members (and their parents). We still have one more team dinner for the Grandview High School football team. Pray for the team, coaches and managers, and for those involved in serving the meal that the Lord will use this to touch some of these lives.

This month has been our Fellowship Emphasis Month. I hope you took advantage of the numerous opportunities to get to know someone a little bit better. Our fellowship is only as strong as we allow it to become through the shared experiences, growing friendships and support of our common mission. It takes all of these things, working together, and all of us working together, to ensure that our fellowship is honoring to God and the blessing that God intends it to be. I am thinking we may make this an annual part of our church calendar. Let me know what you think about this.

November is rapidly approaching, and with it our District Association’s annual Missions Conference. Central will be hosting the conference this year on Sunday, November 10th at 6:00 PM. We will be providing a Dessert Social following the conference, so stay tuned for more details about this event.

In the meantime—what are you doing to be the church?
