Domestic Violence is a social disease that affects millions of women (1 in 4) and children across the country; and to a lesser degree, it even affects men (1 in 7). Since October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re going to take a couple of weeks to look at the how and why of Domestic Violence, and what our response ought to be.

We don’t like to think about Domestic Violence being a problem in the church; however, the social disease of Domestic Violence crosses all boundaries, and it exists even in the church of Jesus Christ. ¬†We have to be willing to look this problem in the eye, and address the issue head on.
