Larry has been married to his wife, Margaret, for 53 years. They have 3 daughters (Amy, Jill and Elizabeth), 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was born and grew up in Lebanon, Missouri. He attended Southwest Missouri State College (now Missouri University) where he received a B.S. in Education degree and later received an M.A. in Education degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He retired in 2000 having worked as a guidance counselor in the Raytown, Missouri school district for 36 years. Larry has attended Central FWB Church since 1968. In addition to serving as a deacon, he has taught Sunday School, served on the Advisory Board, and has been involved in the men’s ministry.
